About the role
The Manager of Workplace Experience leads an exceptional, high-touch onsite workplace environment that supports productivity, engagement, and trust at Pax8 headquarters and across Americas offices. This role shapes the workplace experience by building a consistent, welcoming, high-performing environment.
Responsibilities
- Create a workplace people love: Build community through thoughtful onsite experiences, consistent touchpoints, and a welcoming atmosphere for employees, customers, and visitors.
- Run office operations with precision: Oversee day-to-day office functionality, supplies, space readiness, vendor performance, and maintenance routines to keep everything working as it should.
- Own facilities and service partners: Manage relationships with key vendors, track service quality, and ensure timely resolution of issues—without losing the human touch.
- Lead improvements and projects: Identify pain points, streamline workflows, implement smarter tools/systems, and use data to improve the workplace experience over time.
- Coach and develop your team: Set clear expectations, remove blockers, build capability, and create a team culture that reflects Pax8 at its best.
- Champion safety and compliance: Maintain clear documentation, support audits and readiness, and help ensure a safe, secure, well-run environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading workplace experience, office operations, facilities, or hospitality-style environments in a fast-moving organization.
- Demonstrated ability to run onsite operations with strong structure—prioritization, planning, vendor management, and service delivery.
- Considerable skill partnering across teams and influencing stakeholders with clarity, warmth, and accountability.
- Comfort using tools, systems, and data to improve workflows, measure service quality, and drive continuous improvement.
- A leadership style that is hands-on, calm under pressure, and people-first—you create clarity and raise the bar without creating friction.
- Ability to move throughout the office regularly and handle occasional physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 35–50 lbs.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to other Americas offices as needed.
