Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect supervision to staff within assigned programs and departments.
- Provides or assigns appropriate clinical supervision in accordance with Illinois and Iowa requirements and applicable credentials.
- Led compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, accreditation standards, agency policies, grants, and contractual requirements.
- Aids in the planning, development, implementation, and supervision of assigned programs and services.
- Maintains high standards of clinical care through ongoing assessment, staff supervision, and quality improvement activities.
- Manages staffing needs, budget targets, staffing matrices, resource utilization, and revenue generation for assigned programs.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve patient flow, work processes, safety, quality, satisfaction, and overall program performance.
- Interviews, hires, coaches, develops, and supports staff while promoting training, continuing education, and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services required.
- Master’s degree in Human Services preferred.
- Supervisory experience and experience in the substance use field required.
- Experience tracking data, preparing reports, or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
- Collaborative experience working with nursing departments, corrections, and judicial teams preferred.
- Budgeting, benchmarking, and demonstrated quality improvement experience preferred.
- Must obtain Counselor Certification through the State of Iowa or Illinois, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within two years of employment in the state where working.
