About the role

The HRIS Manager serves as Prevea Health's primary subject matter expert and long-term steward of the organization's Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role is responsible for the design, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of all HRIS systems and processes. The HRIS Manager owns the day-to-day and strategic management of the HCM system while serving as the key liaison between Human Resources, IT, Finance, Payroll, and Operations across Prevea's multispecialty clinic network. This position combines technical expertise with strong HR functional knowledge to drive system performance, data integrity, and a consistent employee and manager experience. The HRIS Manager plays a critical role in sustaining workforce data accuracy that informs clinical staffing, regulatory compliance reporting, and strategic planning at all levels of the organization. The HRIS Manager leads or supports HCM implementation and upgrade projects as needed, and proactively identifies automation and process improvement opportunities to support a growing and evolving workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary HCM system administrator: manage user access, security roles, workflow configuration, system settings, and employee data to ensure platform reliability, accuracy, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Lead or support end-to-end HCM implementations, upgrades, integrations, and new module rollouts—including project planning, configuration, testing (UAT), data migration, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits, troubleshooting, and validation; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact operations, payroll, or compliance reporting.
  • Design, build, and maintain standard and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, and analytics supporting HR, Payroll, Finance, and Operations; ensure accurate reporting for regulatory filings (EEO-1, ACA, OSHA) and internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and implement system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements; collaborate with HR Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to translate evolving business needs into effective system solutions.
