Manager of Event Content

About the role

Manager of Event Content at Ducks Unlimited National Headquarters in Memphis, TN, responsible for managing content within the Event Fundraising Division to build brand awareness and engage in‑person and online audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and publish short‑form and long‑form video, static graphics, and written copy for social media platforms and event use
• Stay up to date on internet culture, memes, and algorithmic shifts to create timely, relevant content
• Maintain an editorial calendar and plan publishing pipelines with coordination of social media and marketing teams
• Track engagement metrics and analytics to refine future content strategies

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with video capture, lighting, audio recording, and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, etc.)
• Strong storytelling and scriptwriting abilities tailored to specific digital platforms
• Comfortable hosting videos, conducting interviews, or acting as the face of a brand when required
• 1 to 5+ years of digital media, social media, or video production experience, supported by an online portfolio or reel
• Knowledge/experience with the outdoor industry and waterfowl hunting is preferred
• Self‑motivated and eager to accept challenging goals
• Aptitude for building and managing relationships with a diverse group of volunteers and employees, with emphasis on effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient on a personal computer with basic MS Office skills and working familiarity with the Internet
• Ability to develop computer skills specific to Ducks Unlimited’s standardized information systems
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
