Manager of Digital Asset Operations

Job Overview

The Manager of Digital Asset Operations is responsible for the end-to-end management of NDTC client digital assets, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient execution across platforms, systems, and business lines. This role partners across Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to scale digital asset activities while maintaining strong governance and control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NDTC’s digital asset operation strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations
• Oversee daily operations related to NDTC client digital assets, including onboarding, custody, transfers, settlements, reconciliation, and reporting
• Lead or coordinate with marketing, IT, content, and customer service teams
• Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable operational processes and workflows
• Ensure operational readiness for new digital asset products, platforms, or partners
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align priorities and provide updates

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Establish and maintain operational controls aligned with regulatory, legal, and internal risk requirements
• Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and policies
• Develop incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans for digital asset operations

Technology & Infrastructure

• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT teams to support wallets, custody solutions, blockchain integrations, and supporting systems
• Oversee vendor selection and management for custody, trading, analytics, and monitoring tools
• Ensure operational resilience, system uptime, and data integrity

Financial & Performance Management

• Monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and risk metrics
• Drive cost efficiency while maintaining high operational standards
• Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and audit requirements related to digital assets

Team Leadership

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing digital asset operations team
• Define roles, responsibilities, and coverage models to support 24/7 or global operations if required
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Strategic Contribution

• Serve as a key operational advisor to senior leadership on digital asset strategy and scalability
• Support product launches, partnerships, and expansion into new asset types or markets
• Identify operational risks and opportunities tied to new technologies, regulations, or market conditions
