Manager, Intellectual Property - Disputes, Claims & Investigations
About the role
Lead or co-lead intellectual property engagements, overseeing and participating in research, modeling, and financial and economic analysis. Develop and mentor team members, building trusted client relationships through responsive communication and dependable project management.
Responsibilities
- Work with engagement leaders to strategize engagement approaches, develop workplans, and monitor progress.
- Analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents to identify critical insights.
- Assist with drafting expert reports and preparing analyses related to patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for client communications.
- Build and expand the team's use of emerging AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and document workflows.
Requirements
- 4-year undergraduate degree with a concentration in economics, finance, mathematics, or accounting.
- 3-6 years of relevant professional experience in damages quantification, preferably related to intellectual property disputes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly convey ideas.
- Strong analytical and technical skills in finance, economics, and/or accounting.
- Significant experience assisting with the preparation of expert reports and supporting analyses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $87,000.00 - $195,000.00 Annual. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
