About the role
Maintains operational and transactional responsibilities of the department. Manages coordination of day-to-day activities of a specific business function. Emphasizes achieving results by building engagement and empowering teams.
Responsibilities
- Opens facility, checks work orders, evaluates grounds, considers safety guidelines and policies
- Supervises/Manages custodial activities, maintains facility grounds and housekeeping activities
- Communicates and coordinates with Facility Maintenance and other District departments for major repairs
- Troubleshoots and performs minor repair and maintenance on building systems, furniture and fixtures
- Maintains HVAC systems, monitors safety and security, conducts fire drills, coordinates with fire department for inspections
- Leads, supervises, coordinates and trains facility staff, conducts performance evaluations, makes personnel recommendations
- Responds to facility emergencies, schedules and delegates tasks, maintains tools and equipment, receives supply orders, conducts fire alarm drills
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Automated building systems experience (may be required)
- Pool operation, maintenance and repair experience (may be required)
- Successful completion of District specific training required for all levels
Qualifications
- Lives and works with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position with or without accommodations
Skills
Desired skills include knowledge of automated building systems, pool operation, maintenance and repair, and the ability to lead and train facility staff.
