About the role

We are looking for a people-focused, business-minded Human Resources Manager to lead HR at our manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by building strong leaders, developing talent, fostering an engaging culture, and partnering with operations to deliver outstanding business results.

Located on-site at our manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, as a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you'll serve as the senior HR leader for our gummi candy manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, providing strategic direction while remaining hands-on in supporting our associates and leaders every day.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership - Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to the Plant (factory) Leadership Team while providing strategic HR guidance
  • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategies that prepare the site for future growth
  • Leadership Development & Talent – Coach leaders at every level to build high-performing, accountable teams
  • Associate Relations & Culture – Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace where every associate feels valued
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning – Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, hire, and onboard exceptional hourly and salaried talent. Support initiatives that improve engagement, attendance, and workforce stability.
  • HR Operations & Compliance- Monitor HR metrics including turnover, engagement, staffing, absenteeism, and other workforce trends to drive informed business decisions.
  • Lead the factory HR Team – Inspire, coach, and develop the site Human Resources team to deliver exceptional service and business partnership.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, distribution, plant operations or other high-volume production environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience accepted
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems, workforce planning tools, and data analytics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and related regulations
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
  • Experience implementing HR processes in union and non‑union environments
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement, safety culture, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience developing and facilitating training programs for plant / factory leaders and frontline employees
  • Experience supporting manufacturing plants or high‑volume production environments within the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to understand operational drivers and support plant leadership.
  • Spanish language proficiency

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to understand operational drivers and support plant leadership
