Summary Of Responsibilities

The Manager, Fan Experiences is responsible for planning, managing, and executing fan-facing experiences that bring the Team USA brand to life through live events, immersive environments, and partner-integrated moments. This role supports the delivery of large-scale fan experiences leading into and during the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with a strong focus on executional excellence, logistics management, and brand consistency.

This position plays a key role in translating strategy into action—owning day-to-day program management, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. The Manager will collaborate with internal teams, including Community Relations, as well as agency partners, USOPP, LA28, and external vendors to ensure fan experiences are engaging, operationally sound, and distinctly Team USA brand-forward.

How You’ll Have An Impact

  • Manage day-to-day planning and execution of fan experiences, potentially including but not limited to live events, fan zones, watch parties, and experiential installations during the Games.
  • Own detailed program logistics including run of show, staffing plans, load-in/load-out schedules, credentialing, and on-site workflows.
  • Support on-site execution in fast-paced environments, proactively resolving issues and escalating risks as needed.
  • Ensure fan experiences are delivered to scope, timeline, and quality expectations while maintaining a fan-first mindset.
  • Coordinate with agency partners and external vendors to support production, fabrication, and delivery of fan experience elements.
  • Support integration of commercial partners into fan experiences in collaboration with USOPP Sales, LA28, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage partner deliverables and activation requirements, ensuring alignment with Team USA brand standards and approved scopes.
  • Aid in IOC and USOPC intellectual property approvals workflows, supporting timely reviews and compliance across fan-facing assets.
  • Partner with internal Creative and Brand teams to support development, review, and execution of fan experience creative assets.
  • Ensure all fan-facing touchpoints reflect Team USA brand voice, values, and visual identity.
  • Review creative materials for accuracy, brand compliance, and executional feasibility prior to production.
  • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting for assigned fan experience programs.
  • Maintain project timelines, workplans, and documentation to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Prepare status updates, recaps, and post-event summaries to support reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Support administrative needs related to fan experience programs as directed by the Associate Director.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Communications, Digital, Legal, and Operations to support fan experience delivery.
  • Cook up with LA28 and USOPP counterparts to support Games-time readiness and alignment.
  • Participate in internal check-ins, planning meetings, and rehearsals related to fan experience execution.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6+ years of experience in event or brand management, experiential, sports marketing and/or related field
  • Experience working with and leading large agency teams from briefing to strategy to execution
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and across departments
  • Background in sponsorship activation or integrated marketing campaigns
  • Leadership experience or interest in team development
  • Proven experience executing complex, high-touch programs or events with significant logistical requirements
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in dynamic, deadline-driven environments
  • Clear communicator with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work extended hours and travel as required, particularly around major events and Games-time periods
  • A passion for experiences with a commitment to innovation
  • Appreciation for sport and familiarity with the Olympic & Paralympic Movement

Additional Information

  • Hiring pay range: $77,000 - $87,000 per year
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target
  • The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion
