Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic customer relationships within the CPG industry to drive profitable revenue growth, increase market share, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail, grocery, foodservice, or distributor accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with work groups and other departments to execute customer business plans.
- Communicate customer sales-related information between plants and retail stores.
- Work with plants on specific plans and reporting that benefit their sales areas.
- Visit stores to determine execution levels on programs and report on sales to plants, upcoming display information, and upcoming store and bread rack reset information.
- Meet with retail store management to discuss previous period results and plan for current and upcoming periods.
- Prepare and collect proper DSD forms for price changes, promotions, new items, etc.
- Distribute newly published price sheets to plants for HHC pricing accuracy.
- Spend time in the market with a Key Accounts Director from one or more of the plants.
- Meet with the DSD department to confirm pricing on upcoming features and prepare a feature confirmation report for all upcoming period features in retail stores.
- Contact category managers to discuss opportunities related to the business.
- Prepare promotional sales planners for retail stores to provide an advance review of anticipated features.
- Contact regional SVP for discussion on sales plans for future promotions and specific events relative to business with retail stores.
- Attend meetings with National Accounts teams.
- Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
- Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales/marketing.
- Ability to travel 50% and overnight as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Master of Business Administration preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $82,700 – $85,000
