Essential Job Responsibilities
- Schedules employees and assigns daily and project work.
- Provides training and orientation for new employees.
- Provides ongoing training and in-servicing for all staff.
- Counsels employees and gives assistance and direction as needed.
- Answers calls, responds to emergencies, and conducts inspections.
- Assures adequate staffing and ensures all sanitation and infection control standards are upheld.
- Strips, waxes, and burnishes floors.
- Shampoos/bonnet cleans carpets.
- Routinely checks equipment and coordinates repair/maintenance with the maintenance supervisor.
- Keeps employee attendance records and time sheets, and manages payroll.
- Selects and maintains adequate levels of housekeeping supplies, linen counts, and miscellaneous equipment.
- Ensures staff has equipment and supplies available to perform their assignments.
- Establishes and develops press gainey initiatives.
- Communicates problems to the manager as appropriate.
- Follows all time and attendance policies.
- Attends educational programs related to job responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
