About the role

Under the general direction of the Director, oversees all technical and clerical staff in the Imaging Services Department. Oversees technical procedures, Quality, JCAHO and State requirements. Ensures the workflow of safe and effective patient care. Is directly responsible for the management of all services related to assigned operations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree: For existing caregivers: must obtain within 48 months of transfer date or equivalent education/experience.
  • Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
  • Unit specific competency within 90 days of hire.
  • California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Certification from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • 6 years' experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years of supervisory experience.
