Manager Diagnostic Imaging

Job Summary

The Manager of Imaging Services assists with the overall management of the day-to-day operation of the Imaging Services department. Specific responsibilities include: performance improvement; policies and procedures; staff/productivity; and patient care for a patient population where the ages range from infant to geriatrics. Works closely with Radiologist and other physicians to ensure quality patient care. Guides the staff in the implementation of the imaging process and directs the cost effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-R)
• Radiography (RT)
• Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate degree or certification from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor degree preferred
• 5-8 years related experience to include leadership experience and imaging department experience

About the Role

North Florida Regional Medical Center is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center. For over 49 years, we have served North Central Florida.
