About the role

This role represents the Deliver pillar for MedTech Platform teams by bringing functional expertise and a full view of Deliver strategy & operations for the Business Unit. It involves leading workstreams such as SCLT/Platform teams, MedTech Deliver Center, Regional MedTech SC Leaders, and GSCS.

Responsibilities

  • Represents Deliver through balanced role with other E2E pillars (Plan-Source-Make).
  • Connects BU strategies and requirements into Deliver Center Operations and Capabilities teams, and vice versa.
  • Partners with regions for critical processes and accountabilities, including Performance Mgmt., BP/LRFP, Flow Optimization, NPI execution, Margin Expansion.
  • Partners with GSCS teams (GTTO, Trade Compliance) focusing on transportation / lane optimization, tariffs management and budget control.
  • Infuse business specific priorities into the overall MedTech SC Deliver strategy and capability roadmap to accelerate BU growth.
  • Incorporate and collaborate with E2E SC team to drive MedTech SC Deliver strategic plans associated with the respective BU (i.e. product flow optimization, efficiency and productivity initiatives for hubs and transportation, capacity and capabilities improvement, etc.).
  • Ensure visibility into global Hubs priorities and performance, and drive global aggregation through partnership with Regional SC Leads.
  • Shared accountability for performance metrics, including OTIF-SC and OTIF-D as part of E2E SC; drives continuous improvement against failure modes linked to Deliver including partnering to address E2E issues.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of NPI and new capabilities through Deliver Playbook adherence and maturity.
  • Shared accountability with E2E SC for optimizing inventory levels through improvement on unproductive inventory reductions at Hubs, international lanes reliability and leadtime compression and E2E product flows design.
  • Shared accountability with Global E2E SC for driving COGS reduction in freight and warehousing and margin expansion across; ensures a process is in place to provide visibility to Deliver cost performance and improvement, jointly sets and works to achieve cost optimization targets.
  • Shared accountability with Global E2E SC to ensure a robust foundation in compliance including trade compliance, Quality, EH&S, financial compliance.
  • Develops talent and maintains leadership pipeline; actively sponsors and mentors key talent across E2E supply chain, builds leadership competencies in team.
  • Responsible for Deliver integration into core global processes (e.g., STEM, issue management / escalations, strategic capacity planning, S&OP, IBP and E2E flow optimization).
  • Interfaces with other Deliver Capabilities pillars to drive global distribution network optimization and standardization initiatives.
  • Sets up and manages strategic network projects initiated both from a BU side (i.e. source changes, consolidations, etc.) and Deliver (i.e. DC capacity plans, network redesign, etc.).

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6-8 years overall business experience, preferably with a focus in Customer Service/Deliver, Operations/Supply Chain, Strategy and management of large complex programs.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, with an MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven success working in a complex, highly matrixed, global organization with rapidly changing priorities and tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated impact in increasingly complex leadership roles, including roles requiring orchestration and influence; E2E mindset and collaborative, influence-based leadership.
  • Track record of developing and building diverse, high-performance teams with a strong sense of mission.
  • Ability to promote a vision and drive change to transform organizations, via strong engagement/communication.
  • Strong understanding of core Order Fulfillment processes (Customer Service, Warehousing and Transportation).
  • Strong planning and systems (OTC, digital, visibility & WH systems) understanding with demonstrated track record of performance with E2E execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across a broad product portfolio.
  • Collaboration - able to build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus.
