Manager, Information Technology (Clinical and Business Applications)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal collaborators to develop corrective and preventative actions to address identified non-conformities
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Reviews Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) taking action as needed to improve IT related performance
• Hire, train, mentor, and provide performance management or corrective actions following policy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare information technology or relevant field is required
• 5+ years of healthcare IT experience is required
• 2+ years of management, supervisory or leadership experience required

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT operations, network infrastructure, server administration, and/or enterprise software applications
• Experience with information security practices and risk management
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent leadership/team management skills, business acumen, and technology proficiency
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills/Customer Service
• Attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations

Skills

• IT application experience in Epic
• Other applications would be a bonus
