Job Summary
We are seeking a Manager, Clinical Applications Solutions to lead the design, development, and optimization of end-to-end clinical workflows within our various Clinical Applications, with particular emphasis on our Electronic Health Record (EHR) AthenaOne.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Clinical Applications Solutions Specialists
- Oversee the design and optimization of end-to-end workflows within AthenaOne
- Partner with Clinical Leadership and stakeholders to identify high-impact problems and solutions
- Translate business priorities into actionable roadmap items and workflow improvements
- Act as a senior subject matter expert on Clinical Applications tools including AI-native encounters, Population Intelligence, and Quality tools
- Guide evaluation and implementation of Athena Marketplace vendors or third-party solutions
- Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards
- Stay current on product releases and ensure team readiness for new features of all supported Clinical Applications
- Collaborate with Product and Clinical Operations to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee development of training materials, job aids, and enablement strategies
- Ensure consistent documentation, governance, and change management practices
Required Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years working with Electronic Health Records, preferably AthenaOne
- Experience in clinical workflow design, process improvement, or clinical informatics
- Experience managing teams or leading cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated success driving operational or clinical technology improvements
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, MIPS, HEDIS)
- Expertise in EHR workflows, configuration, and optimization
- Familiarity with integrating or evaluating third-party healthcare technologies, with a strong emphasis on AI tools supplementary sources of patient data
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with clinical audiences
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process design capabilities
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills aligned to business goals
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment
