About FloSports
FloSports is a world‑class sports media company that serves passionate fans with live event coverage, breaking news, highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles. The company’s ecosystem spans over a dozen sport verticals and hundreds of streaming partners, covering college conferences, grappling, hockey, track & field, racing, cheer, wrestling, and more.
About the Role
FloSports is seeking a Manager, Creator Partnerships to build and manage a network of influential creators who will grow awareness, audience engagement, and subscriptions across the FloSports portfolio. The manager will lead creator participation in major event campaigns, develop long‑term relationships with trusted voices in sports communities, and create programs that extend FloSports’ reach to new and existing fans. This role sits in the Content organization and works cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, Production, PR/Communications, Global Partnerships, and Rights Acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Creator Strategy and Network Development: Develop and execute a creator partnership strategy across established and emerging sports verticals; identify, evaluate, and recruit creators whose audiences, credibility, and storytelling align with FloSports priorities; build a diverse network that includes athletes, analysts, podcasters, filmmakers, social personalities, and sport‑specific experts; establish scalable partnership models ranging from event activations to ambassador programs; maintain a centralized creator database tracking audience profile, platform presence, sport expertise, relationship history, performance, and partnership status; stay current on creator‑economy trends and emerging platforms.
- Campaign Development and Execution: Incorporate creators into promotional plans for priority events, rights launches, and subscription campaigns; develop creator briefs outlining objectives, audience, key messages, deliverables, deadlines, brand requirements, and calls to action; coordinate behind‑the‑scenes access, athlete interviews, venue experiences, broadcast appearances, social collaborations, and original content; manage campaigns from outreach and contracting through content approval, publishing, amplification, and reporting; build repeatable processes for efficient execution across multiple sports and event schedules; ensure creator content remains authentic while aligned with FloSports brand, editorial standards, and contractual obligations.
- Relationship and Partnership Management: Serve as the primary relationship owner for the creator network; provide creators with meaningful value such as access, distribution, exposure, content opportunities, and compensation; collaborate with sports rights partners to identify creators that support shared audience‑development goals; represent FloSports at events, industry gatherings, and creator meetings; cultivate long‑term relationships rather than one‑time transactions; connect creators with FloSports programming, talent, social channels, newsletters, podcasts, FAST channels, and other distribution platforms.
- Measurement and Optimization: Establish clear objectives and success metrics for each initiative; measure performance using qualified reach, video views, engagement, traffic, referral clicks, account creation, subscription conversion, content output, and cost efficiency; partner with Business Intelligence, Marketing, and Audience Development to improve attribution and evaluate incremental impact; produce post‑campaign reports with results, insights, and recommendations; use data to decide which creators, platforms, formats, and partnership structures to expand, adjust, or discontinue; manage the creator partnerships budget and evaluate investments for both immediate performance and long‑term strategic value.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner with vertical content teams to ensure campaigns reflect each sport’s culture, athletes, and narratives; work with Social and Audience Development to maximize organic distribution; coordinate with Production and event teams on credentials, access, filming requirements, and on‑site logistics; collaborate with Marketing on paid amplification and lifecycle campaigns; develop creator‑led sponsorship opportunities with Sales; work with Legal and Business Affairs on agreements, content rights, disclosures, usage permissions, and brand‑safety requirements; communicate program priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and results clearly to stakeholders.
