Manager, Clinical Programs (61096)
Job Summary
Provides management and leadership for the day-to-day operations of Diversus Health In- programs. Develops and maintains community connections; monitors systems and processes to ensure fidelity to clinical care and evidenced-based practices; fosters an environment of accountable care practices, to include individualized client care, utilization management, access to care and productivity; promotes collaboration and cross-systems strategic planning, reviewing and aligning goals within and among networks; continuously develops clinical and support programs to ensure clients with complex needs and multi-agency involvement, benefit from a coordinated care plan across internal programs, community-based agencies and providers and develops an accountable team approach to clinical and administrative outcomes and quality care.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrates leadership qualities with the ability to persuade, negotiate, motivate, coach, teach and facilitate individuals and groups on reaching the objectives of Diversus Health strategic vision and goals.
- Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate care models
- Supports innovative workforce development, recruitment, and retention efforts to facilitate management of clients in crisis and referral to appropriate level of services
- Buils and maintains professional relationships with new and existing partners while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external practice teams in public and private forums.
- Manages and drives growth with existing and new clients/community partners to achieve assigned individual and team goals.
- Provides feedback to leadership on practice transformation efforts, process redesign and improvement, and outcomes.
- Works in a team environment to support the success of all team members, as well as care teams.
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PHD or PsyD), in good standing in the state of Colorado
- Dual license (LAC) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the healthcare field in a leadership or management capacity
- Knowledge of managed care principles, best clinical practices, business and management theory and models, critical thinking and effective customer/employee service models in behavioral health care
- Experience working in a complex, fast paced environment that requires excellent multi-tasking skills and has significant customer interaction telephonically and/or in person
- Ability to work cohesively in a team-oriented environment that fosters good working relationships
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines and established goals
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze statistical and financial data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
