Responsibilities
- Acting as a strategic advisor to partners and senior stakeholders on event strategy, format, audience targeting, and execution
- Partnering with Business Development colleagues to understand strategic objectives across practices, industries, and markets, and curating event strategies that align with those goals
- Providing senior-level oversight of event logistics and execution during the planning process and on-site, proactively identifying and resolving risks or issues
- Prioritizing event budgeting and financial oversight, including budget development, spend tracking, vendor negotiations, and post-event return on investment (ROI) reporting
- Partnering with Business Development, Brand & Communications, and other internal teams to ensure consistent branding and integrated communications
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Qualifications
- Exhibit good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a customer-service focus
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment, preferably
- A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience

Pay
The pay range for this position is USD $140,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.
