Job Responsibilities

  • Support strategic and operational planning in alignment with company objectives and goals
  • Serve as a focal point for capture, analysis and management of functional and nonfunctional systems requirements and user stories
  • Work closely with the IT team to establish sprint backlogs, resolve impediments and provide direction on scope of work
  • Lead and facilitate backlog refinement to ensure work items are clearly defined and ready for implementation
  • Aid in coordination of resources, responsibilities, and daily operations to deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Delegate tasks on projects to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjust schedules, targets, or financing for the project as needed
  • Define success metrics based on overall business objectives
  • Report project performance status
  • Aid in documenting current business processes along with associated system integrations
  • Document technical specifications to support integrations between systems with input from other members of the IT organization
  • Provide guidance and solutions to business partners based on current platform enhancements
  • Aid in any transitions of IT software platforms, or services as necessary

Qualifications

  • Business Analysis (BA) experience and skills
  • Project Management (PM) experience and skills
  • Understanding of and/or exposure to PowerBI
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership ability in a matrixed environment with ability to drive and motivate non-direct reports
  • Must be a team player, show initiative, possess excellent verbal and written communication and be able to interact professionally and effectively at all levels
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles
  • Experience planning, executing, and monitoring projects to meet requirements while controlling budget, scope, and timeline
  • Able to set and manage priorities judiciously
  • Familiarity with one or more project management methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Good understanding of Business Applications characteristics, features, and integration capabilities
  • Experience effectively speaking and communicating information to a large or small audience
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
