Project and Business Analysis Manager

About the role
The Project and Business Analysis Manager will optimize system adoption while minimizing execution risk through effective project management, end-user training, and cross-functional communication with the project team. Projects may include deployment of internally developed solutions as well as solutions acquired from third party vendors. Additional responsibilities include conversion project management and the management of the Solutions Implementation team.
Responsibilities
- Leverage the appropriate project management methodology (i.e. Scrum, PMI, etc) based on project requirements
- Lead the successful implementation of business-focused processes & solutions
- Track progress against stated goals and regularly provide status updates
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Continually seek ways to drive existing and new platform capabilities into business
- Work closely with technology providers (3rd party or in-house) to develop implementation plans
- Ensure adequate documentation exists for user adoption
- Ensure adequate training is delivered at time of solution implementation to maximize adoption
- Measure adoption rates and adjust processes and procedures as needed
- Provide leadership and management to the Solutions Implementation team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the banking business from an operations perspective
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of change management, especially when working with individuals who resist change
- Proven ability to make decisions with limited information
- Established understanding of both traditional and agile project management methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- 7-8 years of related experience and/or training
- 7-8 years' supervisory experience
Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Project Management Software (i.e. MS Project, Rally, etc.)
Certifications
Certified Project Manager, preferred (ScrumMaster, PMI, etc.)
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversees the management of the business analysts, including performing annual reviews and managing day-to-day operations.
