About the Role
The Manager, Business Development Operations, Munitions owns the processes, systems, data, and operating cadence that enable disciplined business development execution for DZMG Munitions. This role serves as a business development operations subject matter expert, maintaining reliable opportunity data, consistent management routines, and actionable growth insights through Salesforce and related processes. The position supports business development decision-making by strengthening pipeline visibility, process adoption, and cross-functional follow-through.
Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and continuously improve opportunity sourcing, qualification, stage progression, pipeline management, and performance measurement processes.
- Facilitate qualification and gate reviews and drive process adoption to support disciplined business development execution.
- Serve as the business owner for Salesforce opportunity management, including data standards, pipeline integrity, dashboards, reporting, workflows, and user support.
- Ensure the system provides reliable information for business development planning and leadership review.
- Organize and facilitate recurring pipeline, business development, and strategy reviews. Develop agendas and decision materials, document actions and owners, and track commitments through completion to improve operating cadence and accountability.
- Develop and monitor business development metrics, pipeline trends, gaps, and risks. Translate data into actionable insights that strengthen decision-making, forecast quality, and growth performance.
- Coordinate priority customer conferences and industry events by planning objectives, participation, customer meetings, logistics, and follow-up. Ensure event planning supports business development priorities and maximizes business value.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, a technical discipline, or equivalent related experience.
- 5+ years progressive experience in business development operations, sales operations, growth operations, CRM administration, business analytics, or a related discipline, including hands-on Salesforce or comparable CRM experience supporting opportunity management, reporting, dashboards, data quality, and user adoption.
- Working knowledge of business development lifecycle processes, including opportunity sourcing, qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Working Salesforce or comparable CRM capability sufficient to maintain opportunity management workflows, data standards, dashboards, reporting, and user support.
- Data analysis capability sufficient to assess pipeline health, identify trends, risks, and gaps, and translate metrics into actionable business insights.
- Process improvement capability sufficient to develop scalable standards, workflows, tools, and adoption routines for business development operations.
- Facilitation and stakeholder coordination capability sufficient to organize pipeline, business development, and strategy reviews with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Change management and user enablement capability sufficient to communicate expectations, train users, and drive consistent process adoption.

Travel
Travel up to 30% for customer conferences, industry events, business development meetings, and related follow-up as business needs require.
Pay
The wage range for this role is $97,600 - $137,400. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
