Responsibilities

Requirements
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident due to nature of client engagements.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline and one (1+) plus years of relevant post-graduation utilities work experience; or a Master’s degree in these fields and relevant internships or co-op experience.
- For Senior Consultant and Manager/Managing Consultant roles, a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline and three (3+) plus years of relevant post-graduation utilities work experience; or a Master’s degree in these fields and three (3+) plus years of relevant post-graduation utilities work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity about the energy industry and a desire to make a tangible impact through consulting work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize work activities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel.
- Currently reside in the contiguous United States.
Qualifications
- Preference given to candidates residing within 50 miles of a core Guidehouse Office or Client Office location.
- Demonstrated experience in grid modernization, electric/power utilities technology integration, AI/ML technology modernization, NERC CIP program support, cybersecurity, or utilities infrastructure resilience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Experience supporting business development by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and account growth strategies.
- Strong conceptual, quantitative, and qualitative analytical skills.
- Excellent at visualizing data, synthesizing insights, and storytelling with data.
Benefits
- Annual salary range: $68,000.00 - $113,000.00.
