Responsibilities
- Contribute to innovative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clients
- Leverage cutting-edge methodologies and tools
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to support project recommendations and solutions
- Identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions that align with client goals
- Prepare detailed, high-quality reports, presentations, and other documentation for client deliverables
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate solutions
- Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a positive team environment
- Pursue ongoing professional development through training sessions, certifications, and staying updated on industry trends
- Assist in project management tasks, such as scheduling meetings, tracking project timelines, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time

Requirements
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to nature of client engagements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline AND one (1+) plus years relevant post-graduation utilities work experience OR Master's degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline AND relevant energy/utilities internships or co-op experience for Consultant II
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline AND three (3+) plus years relevant post-graduation utilities work experience OR Master's degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline AND three (3+) plus years relevant post-graduation utilities work experience for Senior Consultant
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline AND five (5+) plus years relevant post-graduation utilities work experience OR Master's degree in business, economics, or a STEM discipline AND three (3+) plus years relevant post-graduation utilities work experience for Manager/Managing Consultant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity about the energy industry and a desire to make a tangible impact through consulting work
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work onsite in a core Guidehouse Office or Client Office location
Qualifications
- Currently reside in the contiguous United States
- Preference given to candidates residing within 50 miles of a core Guidehouse Office or Client Office location
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Grid modernization and/or transformation, Electric/Power Utilities technology integration or adoption, AI/ML Technology Modernization solutions, Utilities-related projects supporting Transmission & Distribution (T&D) operations, Utilities infrastructure resilience, NERC CIP program support and/or management, Cybersecurity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Ability to support business development by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and account growth strategies and developing client relationships
- Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent at visualizing data, synthesizing insights, and storytelling with data
Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000.00-$113,000.00.
