About the role

The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is seeking a full-time Management Analyst, GG-0343-12, located at the C3I & Networks Operations Management Office, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. The position is a DCIPS position under Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007. It requires a 1-year probationary period or 2-year trial period depending on the type of position.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing, defending, and processing manpower requirements and authorizations
  • Establishing, interpreting, and promulgating manpower policies
  • Providing manpower and organization technical expertise for functions and mission areas assigned to the organization
  • Maintaining an accurate and comprehensive audit trail of requirements, authorizations, and manpower changes
  • Participating in and supporting assigned special projects for the Cryptologic Cyber Systems Division within its designation as lead command and single manager for Communication Security (COMSEC) and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) programs and systems deployed worldwide to Air Force and specified DoD agencies

Requirements

  • US citizenship
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
  • Knowledge of USAF and DoD manpower and personnel principles, theories, and practices
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, management, and operation of national intelligence organizations
  • Knowledge of program management skills in analyzing complex data, interpreting impact, applying standards, monitoring performance, and presenting conclusions and recommendations
  • Knowledge of security and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) policies/practices to ensure the safeguarding of classified and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of manpower database management systems, requirement analysis, and data manipulation and extraction techniques
  • Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and Acquisition Professional Development Programs (APDP) to establish, develop, and sustain a trained and certified acquisition workforce
