About the role

The County of Colusa is seeking motivated, analytical, and collaborative professionals for the position of Management Analyst I/II within the County Administrative Office. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working on meaningful projects, analyzing complex issues, and partnering with leadership to support effective County operations. The Management Analyst I classification is designed to provide a strong foundation for professional growth through progressively responsible assignments and exposure to a broad range of administrative and analytical work. The Management Analyst II classification builds upon that foundation by offering opportunities to perform increasingly complex assignments, exercise greater independent judgment, and support initiatives that advance the County’s strategic goals.

Requirements

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Management Analyst I

  • Experience: Equivalent to some professional administrative, fiscal, or policy-related experience involving research, analysis, or program support.
  • Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Economics, Finance, Environmental Policy, Public Policy, Natural Resources, or a related field.
  • Licensing or Certifications: May require possession of a valid California driver’s license.

Management Analyst II

  • Experience: Four (4) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in administrative, fiscal, policy, or legislative analysis, preferably within a public agency or County Administrative Office environment.
  • Licensing or Certifications: May require possession of a valid California driver’s license.

Pay

$67,452.00 - $116,340.00
