Management Analyst I/II

Education, Experience, Licensing

• Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and one year of animal handling experience.
• Requires valid Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must possess Florida State Certification in euthanasia or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Supplemental Information

• Considerable knowledge of local laws pertaining to animals.
• Knowledge of the geography of the County.
• Ability to remain calm in unusual and difficult situations.
• Ability to prepare and maintain routing work records and reports.
• Ability to communicate information in a courteous and informative manner.
• Knowledge of animal cruelty ordinances.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, co-workers, elected and appointed officials.

Work Hours and Days

• Rotating on-call schedule is required.
