Management Analyst 1

Description of Work

This position supports major technology, records, and business processes that help the Bureau of Administrative Services function effectively. The role involves project coordination, technical guidance, records support, and assistance with operational activities. As a Management Analyst 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Project Support: Coordinate technology projects, review processes, and analyze information for planning needs
• Technical Guidance: Provide training, instruction, and direction to staff on systems, software, and workflow processes
• Records Assistance: Support records management activities, updates, and compliance requirements across the agency
• Technology Coordination: Oversee equipment requests, updates, and user support tasks related to IT services
• Data Review: Monitor reports, track information, and resolve issues to support technical and financial accuracy
• Operational Support: Assist with purchasing activities, content updates, and administrative responsibilities as assigned

Work Schedule and Additional Information

Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Salary

In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or one year of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
