Mammography Technologist Trainee at Solis Mammography is looking for individuals who are passionate about elevating their careers and contributing to the advancement of women’s health. This position offers paid training in mammography with industry-leading expertise in women’s healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Trains with a preceptor to consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
• Learns to prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
• Produces high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
• Develops the ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
• Maintains a patient-first focus and exhibits outstanding customer service skills.

Requirements

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography.
• If student, must be in your final semester of Radiologic Technology program.
• An interest in training in mammography as an advanced modality.
• The ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the mammography registry.
