About the role
The Mammography Technologist will be performing diagnostic and screening mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms
- Conduct breast ultrasounds and related procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols
Requirements
- Licensed as a Radiology Technologist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
- Certified Radiography (ARRT) (R) or obtain within one year of hire if not already certified
- Mammography experience preferred, but not required
Qualifications
- Ability to lift without restriction
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to hear spoken word and alarms
- Quick reaction and ability to work under distractions
