About the Role
The Mammography Technologist performs technical work related to acquiring and processing x-ray films within the department's scope of activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met during imaging procedures
- Maintain patient comfort and provide clear instructions
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Adhere to departmental policies and safety protocols
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved radiologic technology program or equivalent training
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
- CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
