About the role
A Mammography Technologist responsible for performing technical work related to capturing and processing x-ray images within the department.
Responsibilities
- Performing mammography procedures adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Processing and evaluating x-ray films accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with certification and licensing requirements.
- Providing patient care and support during imaging procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved radiologic technology program or equivalent training.
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred, with at least 2 years' experience advantageous.
