Mammography Technologist - Imaging Center

About the role

A Mammography Technologist responsible for performing technical work related to the acquisition and processing of x-ray films within the department's scope of activities.

Responsibilities

• Conducting mammography procedures following approved protocols
• Ensuring quality image acquisition and processing
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards
• Providing patient care and support during imaging procedures
• Documenting and managing patient information accurately

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire)

Qualifications

Preferred: At least 2 years of radiology technologist experience
