About the role

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality mammogram services following physician orders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare diagnostic rooms and equipment
  • Perform imaging with attention to patient comfort and safety
  • Develop films while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations (MQSA/ACR)
  • Position patients and evaluate image quality
  • Verify physician orders
  • Manage contrast media when needed
  • Accurately input patient data into computer systems
  • Deliver excellent customer service and educate patients tailored to their age
  • Maintain radiation safety and perform quality assurance
  • Ensure proper patient identification
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with the team
  • Adhere to safety protocols
  • Flexibly rotate shifts and assignments, including portable and surgical procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • State certification as a Mammography Technologist with AART registration or equivalent training

Preferred experience

  • At least one year of experience in mammography
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
