About the Role

This position involves providing mammography services in accordance with physicians' orders, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and confidentiality. The role requires working collaboratively within a team, including shift rotations and standby call.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare diagnostic equipment and perform imaging procedures.
  • Develop films and evaluate image quality for accuracy.
  • Provide patient education and address age-specific needs.
  • Minimize radiation exposure while maintaining high-quality imaging.
  • Accurately input data into computer systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Maintain safety standards, including radiation safety and infection control.
  • Monitor patient conditions during procedures.
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Washington state radiologic technologist certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • One year of mammography experience preferred.
