Maintenance Technician - Production Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment in a printing manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance with various hand and test tools
• Collaborating with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce failures
• Documenting maintenance activities and suggesting reliability improvements

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience maintaining and installing industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems, electronics troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and follow safety procedures such as lockout/tagout
• Self-motivated with good decision-making, teamwork, and flexibility for night shifts and overtime

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of electrical codes and PLC troubleshooting/programming
• Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Welding and light fabrication experience

• Extended standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
