Primary Function
Diagnose, repair, and perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment and tools used in the manufacturing process. Build, modify and/or adjust tooling or equipment to meet current needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine and predictive maintenance as outlined in manufacturer recommendations for various tools and equipment.
- Remove from service non-functioning equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, adjust tools/equipment and return to service.
- Make equipment and repairs, research replacement parts and purchase recommendations to Maintenance Team Lead.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- Ace's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Skills
- A strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipment.
- Strong Problem-solving Skills, substantial interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, and written skills as well as intermediate computer skills are a must.
- The ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and drawings and a working knowledge of CNC controllers, control circuits and process instrumentation is required.

Physical Demands

- The employee is frequently required to stand, often for extended periods; the employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move weight above 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include strong visual acuity (with or without correction), color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Long hours (10 or more) are often scheduled, and job may require overtime and travel.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud noises, tripping hazards, exposure to sparks, welding arc, and open flame.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, mild industrial chemicals, inclement weather, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
