What You'll Do
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all industrial production and mechatronics equipment
- Operate and repair every cell on a Line
- Perform Corrective Maintenance (repairs) on more than one of these types of equipment:
- Electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase
- Mechanical systems, Conveyor Systems, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC and networks
- Robotics
- Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogues and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience working in a maintenance capacity on production manufacturing equipment and/or have equivalent training or relevant education and written communication skills (able to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downs, etc.)
- Advanced computer skills (able to use job-specific PC applications and coach other users)
- Solid electrical knowledge (has a thorough understanding of electrical requirements and hazards)
- Advanced skills with volt meter to check AC/DC voltage, able to diagnose issues, able to use a schematic diagram to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Proficient with pneumatics-solenoid valves, actuator and control operations and can read schematics
- Proficient with basic hydraulic system operations
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump cap and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
