About the Role

Pace is hiring a facilities technician to support building and facility operations at our Mount Juliet Location. This role is ideal for someone with general maintenance, facilities, or hands-on repair experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting, basic repairs)
  • Complete preventative maintenance and routine facility inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic equipment and facility issues
  • Support groups maintenance and overall facility upkeep
  • Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation
  • Aid in safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the facility
  • Communicate maintenance needs and escalate complex repairs as needed for the lab

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of maintenance, facilities, or hands-on work experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation. Valid Driver's License.

Skills

  • Fundamental technical principles, practices and techniques of maintenance, including basic electrical, carpentry, equipment, painting, grounds and facility maintenance
  • Standard understanding of the daily administration and oversight of maintenance programs, policies and procedures
  • Fundamental methods to resolve technical maintenance problems, questions and concerns
  • Ability to learn standard understanding of applicable maintenance organizational policies and procedures
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work
  • Principles and practices to serving as an effective project team member
  • Methods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe, effective and appropriate operations
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation
