Building Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable maintenance technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have the skills to maintain and inspect our facilities and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans
• Identify and address potential safety hazards
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance and/or facility management
• Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• First aid/CPR certification
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations

Skills

• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
