About the role
The Maintenance Technician will safely perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and predictive maintenance
- Perform general cleaning and maintain a clean work area
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical, and mechanical issues, then repair
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills and communicate complex issues professionally
- Work safely in industrial environments using proper Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
- Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
- Use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding; soldering and welding a plus
- Maintain maintenance logs and schedules
Requirements
- Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent (e.g., basic plumbing, painting, HVAC, or construction)
- Two years minimum electrical experience
- High School diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred)
- Must complete all safety, environmental, and task training/certifications
- Valid driver’s license may be required
- Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required
- Mechanically inclined with problem-solving and leadership skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay
$14.00–$15.00 per hour
