About the role

The Team Coordinator assists the supervisor in managing a specific area of a department, allowing the coach to concentrate more on the people within the area rather than being deeply involved in daily operational issues.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures continuous production flow by addressing bottlenecks in the area.
  • Fills in for positions as needed.
  • Identifies part and resource shortages and finds solutions or notifies the coach of the need for solutions.
  • Communicates identified issues to supervisors, engineers, and managers as necessary.
  • Reduces production bottlenecks on the manufacturing product line.
  • Addresses and corrects workflow issues.
  • Learns all positions and fills in as needed.
  • Identifies part and resource shortages and provides solutions.
  • Communicates above situations to Supervisors, Engineers and Managers as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management and staff.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
