Responsibilities

• Conducts preclinical and clinical studies to support drug development.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and validate assays and biomarker tests.
• Participates in regulatory submissions and ensures compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Manages laboratory operations and maintains quality control standards.
• Develops and implements new technologies and methodologies to enhance assay performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory research or clinical trial operations.
• Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques, biochemistry, and pharmacology.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation such as PCR, ELISA, and mass spectrometry.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline preferred.
• Experience with regulatory requirements and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

Pay

Salary range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
