Description of Work
- Perform work in carpentry, plumbing, heating and cooling, painting, masonry, and electrical areas
- Maintain commonwealth vehicles and address safety or repair needs
- Repair or install doors, windows, partitions, drywall, roofs, and flooring
- Install or maintain plumbing fixtures, heating systems, electrical circuits, and equipment
- Complete lawn care, snow removal, and fence maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
- Special Requirement: You must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
- Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
- This position is considered essential during weather and other emergency events
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
Pay
In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
Schedule
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
