About This Job

The University of Louisiana Monroe is seeking a Maintenance Repairman II to support campus maintenance functions, including HVAC systems. This position plays a vital role in supporting campus operations and maintaining the campus beauty.

Job Duties

  • Makes general repairs to air condition/heating systems.
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance (E.G., changing filters, lubricating motors, cleaning coils, replacing belts) on split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and package units.
  • Unstops drain pans and drain lines on fan coil units.
  • Repair or replace thermostats.
  • Cleaning coils on chillers.
  • Maintain and make general repairs to a variety of motorized equipment including tune-ups, replacement and adjustment of worn or damaged parts, starters, pumps, belts, etc.)
  • Document labor, materials, and findings for university system.
