Description of Work
- Maintain outdoor areas by mowing, seeding, pruning, and removing debris or snow
- Build and repair forms, walls, ceilings, cabinets, and other structural components
- Prepare surfaces and apply paints or varnishes to maintain clean and safe conditions
- Replace switches, receptacles, wiring, and related components throughout the facility
- Open clogged drains, install fixtures, and repair water and heat systems
- Complete required training and follow procedures for asbestos, confined spaces, and equipment lockout
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
- Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
- Other Requirements: Must meet the PA residency requirement.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime as operationally necessary
- No telework option available
Pay
In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
