Maintenance Repairman 1

Description of Work

• Construction Support: Carry out basic building, framing, masonry, plumbing, electrical, and repair tasks for structures and equipment.
• Material Preparation: Assist with planning, estimating, and selecting materials and tools needed for assigned projects.
• Tool Operation: Use motorized and non-motorized hand tools safely and correctly to complete assigned work.
• Equipment Care: Perform routine adjustments, minor repairs, and cleaning to keep equipment in safe working condition.
• Safety Practices: Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and help maintain a safe work area for yourself and others.
• Environmental Compliance: Follow environmental protection standards and complete required environmental training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Special Requirements: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
