Job Summary

Bongards is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Norwood, MN. This position involves inspecting and testing machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Job Duties

• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Dismantles and reassembles defective machines and equipment.
• Installs new or repaired parts.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipe systems for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Cleans, lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Performs preventative maintenance checks as scheduled.
• Reports all food safety and quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Fulfills all GMP and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair high-speed manufacturing and production equipment.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $31.65 to $33.85.
