Maintenance Mechanic- Night Shift
What You Will Do
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoots malfunctions.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitors compliance.
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and calibration.
- Reads, understands, and troubleshoots using electrical schematics.
- General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems.
- Understands the theory behind process flow.
What You Bring
- Highly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting, PLCs, electrical controls, instrumentation.
- Knowledgeable in the areas of mechanical machinery, steam, boiler, pneumatic & hydraulic operations.
- Reads/understands blueprints, electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
- Strong team, verbal, and written skills.
- Sanitary welding experience required.
- Boiler and/or Refrigeration experience preferred.
Nice to Have’s
- Minimum 3 years exp. in mechanical/electrical maintenance, or instrumentation certificate.
- Food background preferred, specifically dairy.
- Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas (production, logistics), within consumer products.
Pay
$2,000 sign on bonus!
Schedule
Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday from 6:00pm-6:30am.
