Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

About the Role

The Facilities Mechanic oversees the operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and support nightly production and shipping goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electric order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and electrical systems.
• Perform scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and update documentation.
• Assemble and install equipment, cabinetry, appliances, and perform building repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment following OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to resolve issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office and relevant software applications.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, analytical, and communication skills.
• Forklift operation experience or certification preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, standing, and working at heights.
• May require lifting up to 48 lbs.
• May require working additional hours during peak seasons.
